Jean-Jacques retired from ExxonMobil where he worked 37 years mainly as a senior commercial consultant and a member of the Upstream Commercial Centre of Expertise. He led large and complex multi-party negotiations including with governments and NOCs in many places around the world. Jean-Jacques held a mentor role within the company to support other less experienced negotiators. He is also an expert in OBO JV Management.
Jean-Jacques has a MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the École Nationale Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers in Paris.
Highlights:
Global Upstream Senior Commercial Advisor
- In charge of complex international commercial negotiations related to very large projects with governments and other international companies in Kazakhstan, Russia, Mozambique, Europe and West Africa either for the Production Company, the Gas Marketing Company or the Exploration Company.
OBO Senior Advisor
- In charge of developing and implementing the management system for Operations By Others (OBO) of ExxonMobil Upstream Production Company. Advised the company senior executives on how to manage the OBO activities. Developed and put in place the OBO Training School for ExxonMobil Upstream companies.
