Nassia Inglessis is an Associate at StrategicFit. She has built up a range of experience across a number of industries, including conventional oil & gas, unconventional resources, renewable energy, biochemical engineering and shipping.

Examples of her work include:

• Evaluating the venture opportunity for a client in a major emerging European shale gas play. Developing a rigorous analytical and interactive tool to provide insight into the value.
• Supporting a consortium of joint venture partners, involving major international oil & gas companies, to reach alignment over the strategy of a large oil field as part of a multi-billion dollar development project.
• Developing competitor intelligence and helping oil & gas companies in Norway in defining their exploration and country strategy.
• Used mathematical modelling to create and analyse biochemical networks as engineered control systems. Her findings were summarised in an article awaiting publication and presented in workshops for biochemical engineering.
• She has conducted research and produced designs for hybrid vehicle energy storage systems.
• She has experience in the shipping industry, producing market reports and working in the chartering and operations departments of two major Greek shipping companies.
• She has previously worked for the R&D department of a major nutritional food company on improving automation of their production lines and information management.

She holds a MEng in Engineering Science with first class honours from St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University, where she was awarded an Open Scholarship. She was awarded the Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) prize for her dissertation work on “Modelling and Analysis of Bacterial Chemotaxis” and was invited by the Oxford University Engineering Department to continue her research on biochemical system modelling and engineering, as a research assistant.

Nassia Inglessis is a member of the IET (Institute of Engineering and Technology).

Outside work she is a fine art and design enthusiast and is involved in the setting up of a cultural centre in Athens, Greece.
