Chris Jones
Chris Jones is an Associate at StrategicFit. He has previous experience working in low carbon energy and developing fuel cell systems.
Examples of his work include:
- The determination and implementation of a quality system for a membrane electrode assembly (MEA) manufacturing process as the MEA was moved from the R & D group to large scale production.
- Identifying and evaluating strategic partners for the development of novel materials and coating techniques in fuel cell manufacture.
- Generating software code to automate the generation of comparison plots to improve the speed and accuracy of fuel cell data analysis.
- Developing new testing techniques to improve the analysis of fuel cell performance and presenting the results and conclusions to senior management of high strategic value customers.
Chris holds an MSci in Physics from Emmanuel College, Cambridge University. In his masters project he explored deposition techniques for platinum nanowires using ion and electron beams and was offered a research role to continue this work.
Outside work Chris is a keen sportsman, having rowed for and captained the college boat club and represented the university at lightweight rowing and Rugby Fives. He has also organised and completed charity bike rides from Lands End to John O’Groats and London to Rome.
